About Us

We are an independently owned and run shop with ties to the fascinating history of the “Ginger industry on Buderim Mountain”. The original ‘Merrybud’ factory, owned by the Buderim Ginger Growers Co-Op, was located in Buderim (just a short drive up the hill from Mooloolaba), and over the years many people popped in to get their ginger fix whilst driving the old road to the Sunshine Coast. Now of course the ginger factory is down the highway at Yandina.

We stock a full range of Buderim GInger products along with hundreds of local and gourmet products.
